Body Detox Series : Healthy Eating with Detox Recipes for your Body (pt 2)

You probably know by now what detoxification is and the ways that it is done. A detox diet provides the simplest way to detoxifying yourself. A rule of thumb in detox diets mostly are (not factoring in the Candida diet, Salicylates Diet nor any allergy intolerance diet): technically, the more fiber and water, the better. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits, beans and nuts. On the other hand, steer clear of caffeine, carbonated drinks, sugars like chocolates, alcohol and yeast.

Of course, this is just one of the too many of those do-it-yourself diet plans that you can take on...But I caution you,  for most detox program can actually overwhelm you. For most people with enough willpower, however, this kinda detox recipes are the best way to go. These detox recipes are especially designed to provide you with the necessary nutrient in the body and at the same time, providing you with the necessary antioxidants and substances that will cleanse your body from toxins. This is however is just the bare minimum of what can be done.

You can try Ginger Healing Tea with Turmeric for more fluid intake,. What you need are the following:

2 cups of water,
½ teaspoon of powdered ginger,
½ teaspoon of tumeric,
1 tablespoon of maple syrup and lemon extract.

To make your special healing tea, add powdered herbs to boiling water and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the tea into a mug and add maple syrup and lemon extract.

For breakfast, you can try the vegetable super juice. This juice gives you the needed energy boost for your senses, wakens your digestive system and can keep you going until lunchtime. For starters, you need :

1 whole cucumber,
4 celery sticks,
2-4 handfuls of spinach,
8 lettuce leaves.

You can also add other green vegetables like parsley and fresh alfalfa sprouts. The process is easy and simple, juice all ingredients and add distilled water. You can also add lemon juice for better taste.

And now for lunch, try the Alkalising RAW Soup. All you need are :

1 avocado,
2 spring onions,
½ red or green pepper,
1 cucumber,
2 handfuls of spinach,
½ clove of garlic,
100 ml of light vegetable Bouillon,
lemon or lime juice and Bragg Liquid Aminos for added taste.

Just like our vegetable juice, the recipe is simple and easy to do.

Blend the avocado and stock to form a light paste. Add other ingredients and blend. And then you can start enjoying the food...

Our dinner treat is Warm Broccoli Soup. All you need is

½ avocado,
6-8 broccoli heads,
1/3 red onion,
1 celery stick,
a big handful of spinach, inch of root ginger, cumin and bragg liquid amino for added taste.

Lightly steam the broccoli for 5-6 minutes. After steaming, blend all the ingredients together and add garlic and pepper to taste.

These recipes are just few of the hundred other detox recipes available on the net. The key here is to pack yourself with enough water and nutrients to keep you going without ingesting a plateful of additives, sugars and food preservatives.

Body Detox series : Body Detox the Easy Way By Natural Diet Pt 1

You may wonder sometimes why your body seems to be heavy and you feel lazy to move, yet you are not sick.  You are more than willing to be energetic but your body is not just up to it. To address the problem, you resort to eating a lot, gulp up cups of coffee and smoke, thinking that you will be lively after. For a while, you feel good and going. Unknowingly though, you are accumulating toxins in your body. With this scenario happening more and more, you might need to detoxify.

With our ever-dynamic world today, we want our bodies to be constantly active so we can move along with the fast paced lifestyles. Hence, we resort to body stimulants such as coffee, cigarettes, diet pills, drugs and a lot more thinking that they will help the body to stay up all the time, but they do otherwise. These stimulants cause immediate loss of energy and emotional symptoms such as headaches, sickness and depression. They are also considered as toxins in the body.

What are toxins? Toxins are agents that are able to cause body harm. There are two kinds of toxins, the Exogenous or external toxins and Endogenous or internal toxins. The Exogenous toxins come from external sources such as car fumes, tobacco smoke, drugs, factory pollution, etc. On the other hand, the Enogenous toxins come from viral or bacterial infection. Due to metabolism, the body creates its own toxin called Autogenous toxins.

These harmful substances are eliminated in the body in a process called detoxification. Detoxification is the removal of stored toxic products from the bowel, the blood, liver, and kidneys including the great amount of toxic substances stored in body fat to cure chronic diseases such as cancer. The easiest way to detoxify the body is the body detox through a natural diet. To detoxify the body naturally is a change in the diet from a poor to a healthy one. A healthy diet includes raw food diet, specifically, fruits and vegetables.

Naturally, the body detoxifies itself all day. The peak of detoxification occurs when the body is rested during sleep until noon. This is a way for the body to eliminate the toxins acquired from pollution, stimulants and nutrients. You body's capacity to detox however can be reduced when the liver is overloaded. Once the liver is affected, a whole series of trouble kicks in and will in fact be an indirect cause for many metabolic-associated problems. Now let me get this straight first, the liver’s main job is to make sure that the body absorbs everything it needs and eliminates everything it doesn’t need – it is a major organ involved in digestion by emulsifying fats and assimilation, and therefore it is vital in helping the body to eliminate toxic wastes as well break down our key reproductive hormones especially estrogen.

Other than that the liver performs over 500 known functions. That’s a lot of work for one organ to do even under the best of conditions; but unfortunately most people’s liver is not in good shape because of the stress filled world they live in, our diets and the toxins we are exposed to on a day to day basis.

Bad Habits people do and the best substitute.

Sugar has a stimulating effect. Hence, we feel invigorated when we drink colas. What we do not know, refined white sugar has detrimental effects on the body. Examples of products containing refined white sugar are cola and ketchup. It is advised to cut down on it by using brown sugars like cane sugar which is natural. Fruit juices also give the same kick as to refined white sugar.

Late night workers resort to drinking coffee to keep them awake. As natural substitute to coffee with a detoxifying effect is Japanese or Chinese green tea. The Japanese or Chinese green tea gives the same kick because it also contains caffeine but it does not contain substances that are irritating to the stomach.

Diet pills are also stimulants for the body to be kept alive. This may be observed among athletes specially, during time for competitions because they give more energy. They are being taken albeit the toxic effect in the body. Instead, it is best athletes must take fruits instead due to their natural detoxifying effects. I personally recommend Garcinia.

For cigarette smokers who think smoking stimulates their mind to think, they must think twice for smoking causes cancer. If they take carrots, they will experience the same effect in a more natural way.

For red meat lovers who really feel good and strong after feasting on said food, they better think about cutting on it. Fish is a better substitute.

Now, we understand why our parents keep on reminding us to eat fruits and vegetables. They give us energy in more natural ways plus they keep us fit and healthy.

Detox Home Kit:Easier Way of Improving Your Body

There are plenty of detox products in the market today. These kits are also available for home use which consists of diet plans having supplementary pills and tonics, or herbal pills that contain herbs good for different body organs.

However, you should be aware that some detox products have no scientific evidences that it really works. Even the product’s manufacturers cannot give proof of any test compliance. Only the glowing consumer’s testimonials are supporting the product’s effectiveness. So make sure that the detox home kit you will choose is compatible to your needs.

These kits are important in clearing your body from accumulated toxins to free you from excessive burdens. It allows your immune system to regain energy so that it could function better. Although cleansing and fasting can help, detoxification is a much better way of removing toxins from your body. However, it is a continued process where it supports the natural ability of your body to dispel toxins effectively. Limiting unwanted toxins from entering your body is also a part of detoxification process.

Remember, the toxins build up in your body for over a long period of time can often cause degenerative diseases. Like emotional traumas that are buried for many years that can later on surface in your midlife. In this manner, you need to examine any changes from your learned behavior as well as physical symptoms so that proper care must be given. Ignoring such changes which is requiring your attention can lead to your own peril. Denying pain can inevitably lead to a more profound pain. Unexamined fears can eventually assume a monstrous proportion. Clinging to your habits which does not support life and growth can bind you to stagnation and even death.

The exposure to too much toxins sometimes cannot be prevented in today’s environment. More often, your body can have difficulty in getting rid of these toxins. This problem are now solved since detox home kits are widely available helpful in regaining your body’s natural balance. These enable you to rejuvenate and cleanse your body.

Detox home kits products are not anymore considered as supplies for more legitimate needs than for the sake of vanity. People who are purchasing these stuff should never feel guilty about it. It is not bad to use these products for reviving your energy so that your body could feel much better.

Detox home kits are available in wide varieties. It is made up of selected herbs and organic ingredients having purifying and cleansing properties. Take for instance, you belong to the category of habitual drinkers then you should choose detoxification home kit products specifically for eliminating alcohol traces in your immune system. However, you need to avoid drinking alcohol after your detoxification. You need to understand that detoxification products are not just for cleansing your body but also for teaching you in disciplining yourself. One of which I prescribe in the clinic would be the Heel Detox from germany and Zeolite from Australia. However I caution readers to work closely with a Naturopath who understands the concept of homotoxicology before buying these stuff online for self use.

There are also detox home kits that are ideal for reducing stretch marks, re-toning loose skins, soothing eczema and psoriasis, and building cellulites.

If used correctly, it can be superbly effective but just make sure that you check it thoroughly by reading consumer’s reviews and forums to get the right one for you. After all you are investing your money and health on it.

Enjoy Your Life: Change Your Point of View

"Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars."- Frederick Langbridge, A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts

If you’ve placed second in a writing contest, will you jump for joy and push for better results the next time or will you be discouraged and find an excuse not to join again?

In life, you are always filled with choices. You may opt to have a pessimist’s view and live a self-defeated life or you may decide to take the optimist’s route and take a challenging and fulfilling life.

So why nurture an optimist’s point of view? And why now?

Well, optimism has been linked to positive mood and good morale; to academic, athletic, military, occupational and political success; to popularity; to good health and even to long life and freedom from trauma.

On the other hand, the rates of depression and pessimism have never been higher. It affects middle-aged adults the same way it hits younger people. The mean age of onset has gone from 30 to 15. It is no longer a middle-aged housewife’s disorder but also a teen-ager’s disorder’ as well.

Here’s how optimists are in action and researches that back up why it really pays to be an optimist:

Optimists expect the best

The defining characteristic of pessimists is that they tend to believe bad events, which will last a long time and undermine everything they do, are their own fault.

The truth is optimists are confronted with the same hard knocks of this world. What differs is the way they explain their misfortune---it’s the opposite way. They tend to believe defeat is just a temporary setback, that its causes are confined to this one case.

Optimists tend to focus on and plan for the 'problem' at hand. They use 'positive reinterpretation.' In other words, they most likely reinterpret a negative experience in a way that helps them learn and grow. Such people are unfazed by bad situation, they perceive it is a challenge and try harder.

They won’t say “things will never get better,” “If I failed once, it will happen again” and “If I experience misfortune in one part of my life, then it will happen in my whole life.”

Positive expectancies of optimists also predict better reactions during transitions to new environments, sudden tragedies and unlikely turn of events. If they fall, they will stand up. They see opportunities instead of obstacles.

People respond positively to optimists

Optimists are proactive and less dependent on others for their happiness. They find no need to control or manipulate people. They usually draw people towards them. Their optimistic view of the world can be contagious and influence those they are with.

Optimism seems a socially desirable trait in all communities. Those who share optimism are generally accepted while those who spread gloom, panic and hysteria are treated unfavorably.

In life, these people often win elections; get voted most congenial and sought for advice.

When the going gets tough, optimists get tougher

Optimists typically maintain higher levels of subjective well-being during times of stress than do people who are less optimistic. In contrast, pessimists are likely to react to stressful events by denying that they exist or by avoiding dealing with problems. Pessimists are more likely to quit trying when difficulties arise.

They persevere. They just don’t give up easily, they are also known for their patience. Inching their way a step closer to that goal or elusive dream.

Optimists are healthier and live longer

Medical research has justified that simple pleasures and a positive outlook can cause a measurable increase in the body's ability to fight disease.

Optimists’ health is unusually good. They age well, much freer than most people from the usual physical ills of middle age. And they get to outlive those prone to negative thoughts.

So why not be an optimist today? And think positively towards a more fulfilled life.

Why not look forward to success in all your endeavors? Why not be resilient? Like everybody else you are bound to hit lows sometimes but don’t just stay there. Carry yourself out of the mud and improve your chances of getting back on the right track. And why not inspire others to remove their dark-colored glasses and see life in the bright side?

Eating Right in Healthy Aging

Eating Right in Healthy Aging

You have to eat right in order to stay healthy. If you do not eat right, your body does not receive the nutrients it needs to stay healthy. You have to eat so it fuels your body. Similar to a motor vehicle, which you add gas to travel; the body requires food that promotes energy, making it go. Too much food is not good for you and not enough of the right food can be harmful to your health.

Choosing good foods to eat:

Not all foods is good for you, yet liver is loaded with iron which is good for your blood, but to much isn’t good for you either. Fruits and vegetables are good for you but again not too much because the fruit will turn into sugar and that’s not good for you. Too much may give you the gibes, especially if you have to watch your weight. You can get high cholesterol as well from food if your not careful. High cholesterol can lead to harden arteries, which follows by strokes or heart attacks. So you need to eat but watch what you are eating and how much of it in a days time.

How will I know if am not eating right?
When you go to your doctor, he will tell you if you need to go on a diet. Your doctor will be able to tell by your weight. Then he may put you on a diet to lose weight or a diet to help you gain weight. He will tell you want to eat and how much as well as what not to eat. Then he may tell you to excise everyday. You have to be able to burn up what you take in so it will not turn into sugar or fat.

Remember that you should try to feast from the four food groups. Try to make sure that you only eat the amount your suppose to, and get your excise that you need to make you healthy. You can always call your family doctor to ask him how to do something if you don’t know how they will also help you to learn how to count your calories as well it is a big job when it comes to dieting you have to know how to count your calories and weigh your food. If you don’t you are not going to do want your suppose to do.

The world is filled with support groups that will help you if need support. More then likely you can go to your local hospital and they will know how to get you in touch with a group. These groups are great. The groups will give you support during the time that you need help. At group meetings, you will meet people with the same problems you have and you can give each other the support. Just remember to set a goal but don’t make it so high that you can’t do it and give up. Start out a little at a time and then as you get better you can get a increase your plans. In addition, what ever you do try to stick to it, it takes will power and control.

Willpower the master:

Willpower is a powerful mechanism inside you. If you want to find this willpower take a seat, sit down and talk with you to see what you can find. As you learn more about you, you gain willpower that takes you beyond your abilities, which means you will have a healthy aging in the future.

Western Medicine vs Wellness Medicine – The Paradigm Difference

In western medicine, the whole concept of wellness is overlooked. Western medicine practitioners and scientists have made great advances in the management of pathology by studying disease. When they study physiology, they do so to better understand abnormal physiology. They do not study physiology in the hope that they can better understand how to optimize physiology.

Due to this perspective, there has been a great deal of skepticism about subtle energetic screening devices and healing technologies. The fundamental challenge in the model can be stated in the following ways.

1)      Subtle energy changes predate biochemical dysfunctions/medical conditions (i.e. liver cirrhosis)

2)      Western medical professionals will typically ignore these changes because they will maintain these changes have no relation to any changes in physiology

3)      Wellness medicine practitioners who habitually look for these changes and successfully help to optimize the patient’s condition will avert the eventual development of these conditions

4)      The Western medical professional will then claim energetic changes have no relationship to pathology because the patient never went on to develop the  alleged biochemical dysfunction/medical condition  (i.e. liver cirrhosis)

The medical model basically employs the so-called lock-and-key paradigm of biochemistry, according to which, any biochemical reaction needs a specific arrangement of the reacting molecules. Meanwhile, a living organism and its functions cannot be reduced to a set of chemical reactions, even if it were possible to account for all of them. This constitutes a serious problem of any acute treatment. Any illness – actually illness in general – generates a kind of communicational gap within the organism’s functional network. Since living beings are highly integrated open dynamic systems, their health – all health in general – is supported by a permanent mass, energy and information exchange. The dynamics of communication thus is vital for organisms.

One of the fundamental communication processes that our body uses to communicate with us when we are approaching dis-ease is our emotions. Our emotions are our primary mechanisms that our body minds use to communicate how well our lives physical, mental or emotional are working. In the Western Medicine Model when you are feeling emotionally unwell like depression, they would prescribe prozac. In the Wellness Medicine Model, when you feel unwell, you are getting a signal about some state of disharmony whether physical, mental or emotional.

So do you want to pay attention to your Body-Mind or do you wish to drug yourself so you that feel nothing? That is the real difference between Western Medicine and Wellness Medicine.

Be well

Meridian Meditation Class

Isotonix B-Complex

Vitamin B benefits go way beyond energy. For example, vitamin B12 helps support your cardiovascular health, while vitamin B6 can help maintain your immune system. Isotonix Activated B-Complex delivers active forms of these and other crucial B vitamins, providing your body with these vital nutrients quickly and effectively.

A truly great complex B vitamin formula provides a mixture of eight essential B vitamins important for hundreds of biochemical reactions in the body. When our bodies don't get enough vitamin B benefits - because of our diets, our lifestyles or a combination thereof - we can become more fatigued and lethargic. Instead of reaching for a single stress supplement or sugary energy drink to keep you going, a complex B vitamin supplement like Isotonix Activated B-Complex is an excellent energy booster and anti-stress formula rolled in one.

While most traditional forms of vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid found in most other complex B vitamin products must undergo chemical changes in order to be utilized by the body, the formula in Isotonix Activated B-Complex does not. Isotonix Activated B-Complex already provides the metabolically active forms of these vitamins in isotonic form, making it easier for the vitamins and nutrients in Isotonix Activated B-Complex to be absorbed and used in the body's metabolism, helping you get the most vitamin B benefits out of your supplement.

Ingredients:
Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) (120 mcg)
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is a bacterial product naturally found in animal products, especially organ meats, such as liver, with small amounts derived from peanuts and fermented soy products, such as miso and tempeh. It is essential that vegetarians consume a vitamin B12 supplement to maintain optimal health. Vitamin B12, when ingested, is stored in the liver and other tissues for later use. It supports the maintenance of cells, especially those of the nervous system, bone marrow and intestinal tract. Vitamin B12 is important in homocysteine metabolism (homocysteine is an amino acid that is formed within the body). Normal homocysteine levels are important for maintaining cardiovascular health. Deficiencies of the vitamins folic acid, pyridoxine (B6) or cobalamin (B12) can result in elevated levels of homocysteine. Folate and B12, in their active coenzyme form, are both necessary cofactors for the conversion of homocysteine to methionine, thus helping to maintain healthy blood levels of homocysteine.*

Methylcobalamin is one of the naturally-occurring forms of vitamin B12 found in the human body. The liver must convert cyanocobalamin, the form of B12 most commonly used in supplements, into methylcobalamin, before it can be properly utilized by the body; methylcobalamin is more effective than non-active forms of vitamin B12. Methylcobalamin also assists in the formation of SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), a nutrient that has powerful mood-elevating properties.*

Folate [as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt, Quatrefolic®] (432 mcg)
Folic acid is mainly found in fruits and vegetables. Dark, leafy greens, oranges, orange juice, beans, peas and Brewer’s yeast are the best sources. Folic acid plays a key role by boosting the benefits of B12 supplementation. These two B vitamins join forces and work together in maintaining normal red blood cells. Folic acid assists in the normal utilization of amino acids and proteins, as well as supporting the construction of the material for DNA and RNA synthesis, which is necessary for all bodily functions. Scientific studies have found that when working in tandem with folic acid, B12 is capable of promoting normal homocysteine levels. This works toward supporting a healthy cardiovascular and nervous system.* Quatrefolic® is the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, the most active form of folate, as it is structurally analogous to the reduced and active form of folic acid. Because this form is naturally present in the body, it is much more bioavailable for its biological action without having to be metabolized in the body. This patented ingredient also provides greater stability and higher water solubility, perfect for Isotonix.*

Riboflavin-5-Phosphate (Vitamin B2) (3 mg)
Vitamin B2 is found in liver, dairy products, dark green vegetables and some types of seafood. Vitamin B2 serves as a coenzyme, working with other B vitamins. It promotes healthy red blood cell formation, supports the nervous system, respiration, antibody production and normal human growth. It supports healthy skin, nails, hair growth and promotes normal thyroid activity (a healthy thyroid is essential in maintaining a healthy weight, among other things). Vitamin B2 supports the body's ability to in turn food into energy as a part of the electron transport chain, driving cellular energy on the micro-level. Riboflavin can be useful for pregnant or lactating women, as well as athletes due to their higher caloric needs. Vitamin B2 also promotes the normal breakdown of fats. Vitamin B2 is water-soluble and cannot be stored by the body except in insignificant amounts. It must be replenished daily.*
Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (Vitamin B6) (6 mg)
Poultry, fish, whole grains and bananas are the main dietary sources of vitamin B6. B6 is a co-factor required for protein and amino acid metabolism, and helps maintain proper fluid balance. It also assists in the maintenance of healthy red and white blood cells, which keeps our body healthy. Vitamin B6 promotes normal hemoglobin synthesis (hemoglobin is the protein portion of red blood cells which carries oxygen throughout the body). Because vitamin B6 is involved in the synthesis of neurotransmitters in the brain and nerve cells, it has been recommended as a nutrient to support mental function, specifically mood. Athletic supplements often include vitamin B6 because it promotes the conversion of glycogen to glucose for energy in muscle tissue. Vitamin B6, when taken with folic acid, has been shown to help maintain normal plasma levels of homocysteine, which promotes optimal cardiovascular health. Vitamin B6 should be administered as a part of a complex of other B vitamins for best results.*

Magnesium (Carbonate) (40 mg)
Foods rich in magnesium include unpolished grains, nuts and green vegetables. Green, leafy vegetables are potent sources of magnesium because of their chlorophyll content. Meats, starches, milk, refined and processed foods contain low amounts of magnesium. Recent research shows that many American diets are magnesium deficient.*

Magnesium is a component of the mineralized part of bone, and promotes the normal metabolism of potassium and calcium in adults. It helps maintain normal levels of potassium, phosphorus, calcium, adrenaline and insulin. It also supports the transportation of calcium inside the cell for utilization. Magnesium promotes the normal functioning of muscle and nervous tissue, and the synthesis of all proteins, nucleic acids, nucleotides, fats and carbohydrates.*

Magnesium supports the normal release of energy from food during metabolism, regulation of body temperature, proper nerve function and helping the body handle stress. Importantly, magnesium also promotes healthy bones, teeth and normal muscle development. It works together with calcium and vitamin D to promote strong bones. Magnesium, when combined with calcium, helps support the heart muscle in maintaining a regular heartbeat and promoting normal blood pressure.*

Potassium (Bicarbonate) (94 mg)
Potassium is an electrolyte stored in the muscles. Foods rich in potassium include bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, avocado, raw spinach, cabbage and celery. Potassium is an essential macromineral that helps maintain fluid balance in the body. It also plays a role in a wide variety of biochemical and physiological processes. Among other things, potassium promotes the transmission of nerve impulses, the contraction of cardiac, skeletal and smooth muscle, the production of energy, the synthesis of nucleic acids and the maintenance of normal blood pressure.*

In 1928, it was first suggested that high potassium intake could help maintain cardiovascular health. Potassium promotes normal muscle relaxation and helps maintain normal insulin release. It also promotes glycogen and protein synthesis. Potassium is an electrolyte that promotes normal heartbeat. Potassium promotes the normal release of energy from protein, fat and carbohydrates during metabolism. Potassium helps maintain normal water balance, supports recovery from exercise and the elimination of wastes. Sodium and potassium are two of the most important ions in maintaining the homeostatic equilibrium of the body fluids.*

Thiamin HCl (Vitamin B1) (2 mg)
Thiamin promotes normal carbohydrate metabolism and nerve function. Thiamin is required for a healthy nervous system, and supports the production of certain neurotransmitters which have an important role in muscle function. It supports the digestive process, increases energy and helps promote mental clarity.*

D-Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5) (20 mg)
Pantothenic acid (B5) promotes proper neurotransmitter activity in the brain. Pantothenic acid is also known as the anti-stress vitamin because it helps relieve physical and emotional stress, and promotes the secretion of hormones essential for optimal health.*

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) (20 mg)
Niacin is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for many aspects of health, growth and reproduction. Niacin supports the proper functioning of the digestive system, skin and nerves. It promotes the normal conversion of food to energy. Niacin is found in dairy products, poultry, fish, lean meats, nuts, eggs, legumes, and enriched breads and cereals.*

Biotin (Vitamin B7) (300 mcg)
Biotin can be found in food sources, such as egg yolks, peanuts, beef liver, milk, cereals, almonds and Brewer’s yeast. Biotin promotes healthy cell growth, the production of fatty acids, metabolism of fats and amino acids. It supports the citric acid cycle, which is the process in which energy is generated during exercise. Biotin is also helpful in maintaining steady blood sugar levels. Biotin is often recommended for maintaining strong hair and nails.*

These 10 ingredients, combined with the superior delivery of Isotonix®, create a powerhouse B vitamin product superior to the rest on the market. Isotonix Activated B-Complex delivers all of the B vitamins along with select minerals and electrolytes to help boost energy, decrease stress, improve mood, and much more. The activated forms of select vitamins ensure maximal utilization by the body for optimal results.*
